We live by nature without affectation
When a shepherd leaves his flock to eat grass, he searches around him for the nearest shade, tree, or stone, to take a short nap under it. I will call this the simple law of the shepherd (wherever I find shade, I will relax, even if it is on rocks and dirt) This shepherd sleeps and relaxes his body, and perhaps sings some poems to make him sleepy. We can apply this law in our practical life. We live simply if we find something to eat, and if we do not find it, we do not complain and be patient, and we do not buy everything we desire. We try to enjoy what is present and not grieve over what is lost, and by this pleasure I mean the pleasure of what is sufficient. It is not necessary to be burdened with it. Our food, drink, clothing, entertainment, and fun are to live simply. I think I was able to convey the idea to your hearts. Try this and do not criticize anyone’s life, even if it is simple, for they are happier than you because of their simplicity.
